Sometimes the support someone needs isn’t medical — it’s a helping hand with daily life. Pacific Point Home Care provides trusted, non-medical caregiving that helps seniors and adults living with illness, injury, or age-related needs stay safe, independent, and comfortable at home. Every client is matched with a dedicated Home Care Aide and overseen by an experienced Service Supervisor, so care stays personal and consistent.
Home care is non-medical, personal support that helps individuals manage daily life safely and comfortably in their own home, rather than treating a specific medical condition. It’s a good fit for aging adults who need a hand with everyday tasks, people recovering from surgery or illness, individuals living with Alzheimer’s or dementia, and family caregivers who need reliable, trained support to lean on.
Home care is different from home health care: home health delivers skilled medical services like nursing and therapy under a physician’s plan of care and is typically covered by Medicare, while home care focuses on personal care, safety, and companionship, provided by a trained Home Care Aide. Many of our clients use both — home health for medical needs and home care for everyday support — as one coordinated plan.
Home care from Pacific Point is fully customizable to each client’s needs. Services include:
Personal Care
Meals
Specialized Assistance
Home care is typically private pay and is generally not covered by Medicare, since it’s non-medical support rather than a skilled medical service. That said, there are several ways families offset the cost:
